Elaborate Circus Performance Brings a Sexy Twist to Las Vegas

Las Vegas. Amidst the iconic lights of the strip and nonstop gambling, one name immediately springs to mind: Cirque du Soleil. The famous institution is now in every major hotel of Sin City. From Love to Viva Elvis, Ka, and Mystére, you can’t spend a day in Sin City without splurging on one of the fantastic shows they offer. If there’s one show that has a sexy twist, it’s Zumanity, located in the big city streets of the New York, New York hotel.

Zumanity centers on a human zoo -- an escapade through the looking glass. Though the artists du Cirque weave their way across the stage with a sensual touch, they also express a fair amount of humor. Sex is, after all, a game. The playful tone of the show provides an uproariously good time. A taunting look at exploring one’s animalistic side, Cirque du Soleil’s newest production is a gorgeous portrait of a kama sutra experience.

Scenes feature two seemingly innocent contortionists in a luminous fish bowl, erotic tango dances, and sculpted athletes. The Zumanity show embraces its dark side so much so that the audience leaves exhilarated and ready to take on the night.

Guy Laliberté, founder of Cirque du Soleil, has invented a new type of entertainment within the Cirque itself. This is what Vegas should be about: giving in to one’s animalistic side with reckless abandon.
