Rock Concert Meets Silent Film In This Wild Reimagining of A Classic Tale

On Saturday May 19th, 2012, at the Henderson Pavilion in Henderson, NV, Vox Lumiere presented their version of the classic tale of Phantom of the Opera.

 

"It's rock concert meets silent film," says Vox Lumiere creator and composer Kevin Saunders Hayes. While the 1925 silent film of the same name projects onto a massive screen on stage, the performers sing to the music composed by Hayes and dance to choreography created by Trance Thompson. The cast features accomplished performers including Chase Matthews as The Phantom, Alison Janes as Christine, and Danielle Skalsky as The Grand Dame.

 

In the past year, Vox Lumiere has completed both national and international tours. They will present 'Phantom of the Opera' again at the Granada Theater in Santa Barbara, CA on June 2nd, 2012.
